PT-141 Side Effects
PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a melanocortin agonist for sexual health. Its side effects are distinctive - flushing, nausea, and transient blood-pressure changes - and tied to each use rather than a cycle.
When they appear & how long they last
Effects appear within the 45-90 minute onset window and resolve within hours. Because it is used as-needed rather than daily, side-effect tracking is per-use.
Commonly reported PT-141 side effects
The most common effect, often dose-related; usually fades within an hour or two.

A brief BP increase + heart-rate change after dosing.
Mild local irritation.
With frequent repeated use - melanocortin effect on pigment.
When to contact your provider

- Chest pain, palpitations, or fainting

- Any allergic-reaction signs
Biomarkers worth tracking on PT-141
These catch issues early - before you feel them. Pull a baseline before you start, then re-check on the cadence noted below.
PT-141 can transiently raise BP + heart rate; a baseline helps you judge the response.
How to actually track PT-141 side effects
PT-141 tracking is per-use, not per-cycle: note the dose, the onset time, and any nausea / flushing / blood-pressure feeling each time. Because of the transient BP effect, a baseline blood-pressure reading is worth having - especially if you have any cardiovascular history, which is a reason to clear PT-141 with a provider first.
